Saluki Athletics announces the 2023 Hall of Fame class

The distinguished class will be formally inducted in a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 20, and then make public appearances during Homecoming festivities on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Bryan Boemer (Football), John Marks (Track & FIeld), Dyana Pierre (Women's Basketball), Taylor Pippen (Volleyball), Dewey Robinson (Baseball) and the 1983 Football team, which won the I-AA National Championship.

1983 Saluki Football National Championship 40 Year Anniversary

Members of the 1983 Saluki Football National Championship are invited back to campus to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the greatest football team in SIU history. The entire team is being inducted into the Saluki Hall of Fame!

The celebration will take place during Homecoming weekend, which is Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21. There will be events on both days. Please RSVP and add your ring size.

Please look for invitations in the mail, and share with any members of the team or coaching staff in your personal network, as Saluki Athletics may not have contact information for everyone. We hope to see you in Carbondale in October. Go Dawgs!
