Saluki Touch A Truck

Saluki Touch-a-Truck is a free community-based event. Business and community organizations bring their BIG vehicles out for kids to have an interactive, hands-on experience. Honk the horn, climb into the cab, take fun pictures, and learn how machinery works.

  • Single Axle Dump Truck - City of Carbondale
  • Patrol Vehicle - SIU Department of Public Safety
  • Bucket Truck - Ameren Illinois
  • Mini Excavator - SIU Plant and Service Operations
  • Skid Steer - SIU Carbondale Plant and Service Operations
  • Tractor - SIU Carbondale Plant and Service Operations
  • Dump Truck - SIU Carbondale Plant and Service Operations
